about this blog

For five weeks I will be traveling Europe, generously funded by The Richard A. Campbell Traveling Scholarship awarded by the University of Oregon. My focus will be twofold: 1) to use writing, supplemented by images, to communicate the emotions evoked in and around works of the built environment and 2) to reflect on the role of writing as a means of communication in the education of design.

Nicholas Lee Venezia
I recently completed my Masters in Architecture at the University of Oregon. I have since moved back to the East Coast to pursue a career in the design of the built environment and the articulation of shared ideas. I encourage you to comment on posts or email me if anything on this blog resonates with you.
